Dear Gwinnett County Resident,
Your response to the following survey is extremely important. Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation has begun the process of its 2020 Comprehensive Master Plan.

The Gwinnett County Department of Community Services - Parks & Recreation Division strives to meet the Gwinnett County parks, recreation, cultural, and natural resources needs of our community. In order to accomplish this objective, we need to continuously assess those desires. We must strive to provide a smart and sustainable government that understands how our community's recreational needs are changing, and prioritize our citizen's highest requests. The data from this survey will help guide future decision making on parks, greenways, nature preserves, recreation centers, athletic amenities, aquatic centers and the types of programs we offer. Because we endeavor to bring citizen communication and engagement in this project your household was one of a limited number selected at random to receive this survey, therefore, it is very important that you participate.

We appreciate your time therefore we have kept this survey concise yet it provides a wealth of information to better steer our county parks forward towards meeting the needs of all of our citizens. The survey will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete, but each question is important. The time you invest in completing this survey will aid Gwinnett County in taking a resident-driven approach to making decisions that will enrich the livability and comfort of our citizens and positively affect the safe and healthy communities of our diverse residents.

We have selected ETC Institute, an independent consulting company, as our partner to administer this survey. They will compile the data received and present the results to the County. Your responses will remain confidential. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at Mark.Patterson@gwinnettcounty.com. The survey is a tool that will benefit all residents.

Please take this opportunity to make your voice heard.
